Here is my ASI outlook on longterm assumption based on HPP.

You need to understand, that i am presenting my opinion on possible shape/pattern ASPI will/may take.

So discretion is required by individual investors/traders.

Dont blame me if the trend changes, as we all should keep in mind "The Market is Always RIGHT" Thats the mantra.

Reuters in todays Market wrap up is talking about a slight correction. Although they are entitled to their opinion, i dont give a darn on what they say. for me its not even closer to define todays dip as a correction.

For me technically i call it testing the immediate resistance zone.

So for me i would analyse further at end of the week to know whether market failed at the RES. levels.

This week should test the 6005 previous HIGH, to entertain further what ever BULLISH feeling in the market towards 7500.

7500 may look so near but yet so far if the breach 6005 failed in its attempt. All those expecting a further rise should not dishearten with todays DIP.

Tomorrow will test yet again 5900....and who knows what the market has to offer us in the coming days.

NEST tested 1500 SUP (50%) with a crossing i suppose and eventually closed 1590ish.....is giving us a some clue. CTC N & LLUB also encouraging.....

IMHO we should adjust our mind sets to see or to expect NEST trading over 2000Rs & CTC N 1000Rs Smile

in days to come if ASI go past 6005.

Never think certain shares are over valued and thus miss the opportunity market offers you to grab it with both hands. At the same time dont be greedy as well...which is habit even i am finding sometime hard to let go....

we need to change our mind sets to hold shares longterm once we think we got in the right time unless you are short term trader with tight SL. the risk is when you happen to trade frequently their can be tendencies to over trade and loose our money, know Smile

Correct.Todays Red was mainly due to SLT fall.There are attempts to collect lower but shares hardly fall down because there's no panic now.A god news or one move from a share like JKH or COMB wll be enough to beak 6000.( JKH and COMB are trading same levels for sometime, specially COMB) It's a matter of time.

If it drops below 5750 with Large volume it will not be a good sign in my opinion.

But the way Instituion/ HNWI interest is in the market, a run beyond 6000+ is for begging. It just that the retailers are not present to push the market up yet.

It has all the traits to be valid pattern completion....the question would be will it materiliase and will traders move in to DIAL and thus with sharp rise on its price.

Hi TAH, Knowing very little about how these Graphs are plot, i was just wondering about the share price when the "cup" started in Oct 2010. Should it not be adjusted for the 4 : 1 split they gave then ? i vaguely remember JKH was max about Rs 300 then and split adjusted Rs 225.

OK so this is not a graph you plot yourself ? In June 2011, JKH announced a 3 : 4 Split when the share price was near Rs 300. Thus it should be adjusted i guess to Rs 225 as your Graph shows. As I remember, (i may be wrong), This was the highest price for JKH since their near Rs 50-60 low in 2008.
However, your Graph tells another story showing a Rs 270 High (when the Cup forms) in October 2010. This is merely my observation. I may be wrong about this. worth rechecking your source for the Graphs.
