TJL , What will happen?

TJL recently hit Rs 21 and coming down and end up without a change in price today.
It seems people are uncertain about the future price movements of this stock?
Will this up again or move further down ?
Or gathering momentum for the 2nd run?

It seems that their financial performance is little bit weak. So, their share prices will go down further. When things improved especially they have made new investment, will give considerable dividend in coming years. So, there is potential to up 30/=

According to the annual report 2013/14 TJL has a
EPS of 1.76 compare to 1.55 last year .
so the P/E ratio is around 10-11 . which is not bad.

Book value for TJL is 9.72
So at the moment, price is nearly 2 times the book value.

In the last quarter profits are reduce by 76 Mn ( 32%)
compare to the previous yr quarter.

Technically MACD is below zero and going down.
But today good volumes trades compare to previous week.

My conclusion is price of TJL at the moment is a fare value to
buy. but It is not undervalue as people shouting.
But it wont move like a rocket within next couple of weeks. There will be lot of selling will come around 20 , 21.
with ASI around 7000 , the further movement will depend on
psycology.

Yes for the people who were desperate to enter in to the market it is ok.
But, If I had lost money, it was from nothing else other than a fabric company.

It was a fabric company that no one ever thought would go down. It was going perfect.
after investing foreign stock markets, I have lost so much money on a fabric company and ever since, I have never invested on them.

It was a good experience to share but needs lots of time.
so my friends, please be careful.

The company I invested was BILLABONG. Check the history of the company. $10-15 to .20-.30c ents

It is ok to catch the falling knife with other sectors like energy, telcome etc but not with the fabric.
just showing you the dark side of it. At the end of the day its all about profit and lost.
If one loses, other one wins. there is no two winners in buying and selling.

quarterly results highlight on Textured Jersey Lanka PLC for 1QFY15

Note summary:
TJL reported a 32% YoY decline in earnings for 1QFY15, on the back of a 7% YoY decline in revenues and a 3.9ppt YoY contraction in gross margin. The decline in revenues was expected, given a temporary volume decline in US orders in April, which offset an increase in overall ASP during the quarter (an increase in high-end business from Europe offset a drop in pricing on US orders). Gross margin contraction was due largely to a provision of US$300,000 for slow moving inventory included in cost of sales (vs. a reversal in provision for inventory of US$270,000-US$280,000 in the corresponding quarter last year). Excluding these non-cash items of nearly US$600,000, 1Q profit was broadly flat for the quarter, supported by a 14% YoY drop in distribution expenses and a 19% YoY drop in admin expenses.
Our discussions with management indicate that 2QFY15 thus far has been a strong quarter for the company in terms of volume growth. Factoring in an expected margin uplift during the year, coupled with full year technical service fees from Ocean India, we believe the company is on track to achieve our full year earnings projection of Rs. 1.4bn for FY15E, which translates to an EPS of Rs. 2.19 (+25% YoY). The stock currently trades at a FY15E P/E of 8.6x, at a 12% discount to the manufacturing sector and at a 34% discount to the market.

Stock at the moment in a indecisive state. Yesterday and today close at the same price 18.80.
It has a support line of 19.00
If we analyse the stock in detail , it has moved in a upward trend since Aug/2012 upto now. price has a gone up from Rs 8 to Rs 21. Without significant sideways movement.
I ll try to upload a picture.
Question is does this have strength to move further up?

strong support in 18.50-18.60 level .....capital trust also give buying signal on TJL @ 18.80....Bartleet @ 19....wait...hold enjoy ride...Manufacturing sector 2,2*9.95=19.90 earning wise ... 1.77 *16=28 fair value = (19.90 +28 /2 )=23.95..... 23-24 level can happen near bull run... ....

nothing worry....ASI 6600 TJL 19 in 7000 19....can't 19 ....bcz of dividend news and reduce profit ... ..after two weeks see what happen....still dividend not pay...18 th of august...my broker told me HNWI..want to take tjl.
