Yeah because they share the majority of their earnings with shareholders.A good company, but totally depend with their yearly performance and there's a high risk. Of course it will be okay if someone understood the business. I don't recommend to buy LLUB. But good for you as high div rates. Can't expect 65 as they paid 2rs in this quarter too. Around 70 maybe.

LLUB EPS 8 and divident 8 . LB divident say 7% and its EPS is 23% from price so now whats better??

@kavindu - focused on tiles thats why i bought ROCELL. but had to sell rocell due to buy a seris of farm lands.

i was thinking what to sell and suddenly teller told RCL cash flows are bad. its was true so i sold..
Very Happy

i just needed cash and wated a good reason to sell.

LLUB is better as its price is below than a half of LB.

However i haven't analysed LB. Even i am not asking you to buy LLUB over LB. Keep both. Maybe reducing SAMP will work.

@Kavindu - small companys are risky. if i buy small company i need a director possition.
i dont think i can risk my whole capital to buy 10% of smallest finance company

But that they are fixing that issue. You guys had that conversation before the 2019 4Q IR released. It is a good buy. And all tiles will give some considerable dividend in march.

Haha investing in lands are not bad though. Is it plantations?

@kavindu - SAM z better than LLUB. i sold part of sam due to strategical reasons.
1. my possition of sam was too big 50% portfolio.
2. i was on profit 20%
3. Sam divident announced and price went up 7 rs.
4. LB price did not went up and LB div will declare soon after another 2/3 month
5. so i could take advantage of sam divident price hike + LB divident.
6. Sam last financials were bad
7.Lb shown good financials and 20% revenue growth

10% is huge possition. idont know legal side but 10% sufficient to chalenge and get a board possition in any company

Yes but reduce SAM to 20%
Increase OSEA to 10% and give another 10% to all 3 tiles shares.
Increase LLUB percentage too. LB is a good share i barely analysed it.

Yeah having a 10% is a big position. Choose a company which having good profits but not paying div and jump into it and do a favor for us little share holders Razz

Real estate is less risky. they will give 4%-5% divident for life time (inflation z not a impact - no worrys). if inflation is high you can increase the rent of your rental property. rice and other crop like coconut prices are going up (inflation no impact to real estate investor)

paddy fields are not bad. they give u tresure. if you are a srilankan. you should have paddy fields and you should work there (manual labour). thats our culture and freedom

Yeah. Specially it will be if great some big investor could buy a lot of paddy field and boost the crop using new tech and also it will be lower the cost. But needs machine participation much. Today farmer became a poor position. Sad.
