hello Admin,

It would be great if we could search by the Stock name or by the Poster name. Thought there is a search function it is not working for me ( I don;t know it is just me or everyone has this). I get the below error
"You haven't got the rights to access this page".

It would be great if a search is available on a Stock so prior discussions can be found. Right now I find it very difficult to find another post on a topic are a stock name. ANy suggestions?

This is true. I hope everybody experience the same problem..

Then we can move to interested stock postings efficiently ..

Appreciate admin to sort this matter .

Hey guys,

It seems to be working for some queries. Eg cflb, srilanka etc. I will refer this matter to our tech support and sure we will soon get a solution soon.

To me even CFLB and Sri Lanka gives the same error. WOuld be great if your tech guys can fix the search as it will be useful for all of us.

BTW, does any more of you have issues with the search function or is it just the 3 of us?

Test Data Set 1 : we , hi , 4Q , up
Test Data Set 2 : BFL , CSE , NDB, ASI , HVA

Test Data Set 3 : ETWO , TAFL , 8000 , HVA foods
Except for set 3 both for set 1 and set 2 the search function is not working.

QB : kindly recheck.

Now you can search all previous posts of the forum by using the "Google" tab on the Search Box which located on the right Side Bar. Just type the search criteria, mark google search button and then press "Go". You will get all posts pertaining to your search criteria.

You can also use Advance search to search/filter the previous posts written by a particular author/member.

Its not working

Query on Google search box: HVA
http://forum.srilankaequity.com/search.forum?search_keywords=HVA&typerecherche=interne&show_results=topics

Result:
No topics or posts met your search criteria

Workaround: Type < HVA site:forum.srilankaequity.com > on Google (without <>)
http://www.google.lk/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=HVA+site%3Aforum.srilankaequity.com

As others said, we can save more time if we can select only post title or Posters ID.
