After i sold LGL i need to buy new shares, my broker advice me to check on CFVF, RAL, SEMB.N and LEVN, is this a good suggestion ? if not what are the shares you guys recommend ?

buy into plantations that haven't published reports. look for rubber heavy one's. If you look at plantations reports so far places like BALA have made an absolute killing on rubber, while posting terrific earnings. Places like KGAL are much more rubber heavy. buy now and hold until results come out and then dump. you'll get good returns.

i also hav some shares from CFVF.i think it is a good long term investment
RAL is a company from renuka group...COCO lanka holds 52% of RAL.also agriculture sector is very good for long term investments.
I think u ask broker about Renuka holdings and COCO lanka as well.They are also good shares.
I'm not interested in SEMB and LEVN. Because i didn't study them.
But i think following shares may be good
MAL.N
PABC
MBSL
RICH
KGAL
NAMU
CIC.N

Thanks all for the input, at the moment KGAL is around 230 right ? is it worthy buying at current price range ?

Actually a bit higher.But it is massively undervalued at this price as well.Rubber rich KGAL will definitely show fantastic results and i wish it may break 260 mark. But KGAL was a fantastic buy when it was at 215.
Target KOTA and MAL as well. But i think it is may better to dump them after financial have been released.Because u may can get a good gain with in a short period of time.

Also you may try some CFIN, UBC, LFIN these days and in particular CFIN will earn you good bucks.

I agree with RAL and CFVF is a long hold any way.

So my view is;

Short Term - COCO,RAL,CFIN,UBC

Medium - LFIN

Long Term - CFVF

But SEMB,LVEN too speculative i must say,

I think CFIN is fairly valued now? But it might move up with this quarter reports, and this share would do very well in the long run!

Today LB Finance opening their new Branch near my house as well Smile

LFIN is growing. If you take last 2 quarters EPS ( without other income) roughly it will be around Rs 8. So annulaized should be around RS 16-17 fairly. Even with a lowers PE this is worth Rs 200+ . Will be good as medium to long term with Valible 1 Ipo coming also. CFVF is undervalued but sadly there is no push on this ( just like other Schafter family shares like CSEC,JINS)

Am also awaiting RAL, MAL results.
