“Any company of which the profit exceeded 2 billion rupees will be charged 25 percent tax off its profit,”

From investors perspectives, super tax liability hits directly to EPS, ROE & other performance measurements. Investors often are worried of value depreciation of the share & time factor in asset realization.

From company perspectives, it is huge amount of money that could have been utilised for future business expansion & distribution to shareholders. It is not a surprise to expect heavy resistance to break old practice of accumulating humongous amount of profits over years.

From public point of view, part of super gains should justifiably distributed among people in the country narrowing the haves & have not.

From manipulators point of view, new tax regulation is the best opportunity to grab best counters at deep discounted value. Part of manipulating community uses new tax regulation as a tool to create a panic situation in stock market with a view to disrepute the government short term objectives.

I agree 100% with you.
People who worked their buts out to achieve those results will not be compensated by the companies. Results are results and shareholders want their pint of blood. They cannot go back with SOB stories and fairy tales. Basis for promotion and compensation are based on net, net results.

The market pulling two companies are JKH and DIAL. The specific issues for these two stocks are not one time. That's why these two companies need a bit of longer time to settle.

Same tax sytem to be applied in usa too by 14% one time for ovet 2 billion usd. Obamas effort to push midle class level to higher. So why our guys are not taking it positively. They are highly reactive unnecessarily. Thursday green green green.

Market players may shift their fund to less risky stocks and value stocks now to get great return. In the third and final stages of current major uptrend new stocks and sectors should outperform others. It is also better to go behind simple business that we know very well. Then we don't have to worry about complex issues such as tax etc.
