now that the report being released, we should be able to value KGAL.

even at a low p/e ratio of 8

kgal possible to break 282 (35.33* Cool

what do you think?

I did an analysis on KGAL a week back

I expected a annual profit of 817Mn but actually they have made a 837Mn. So I think it would be a good valuation

According to that KGAL worth Rs.270

yes, i too expect it to reach 270 levels.

now that most of the companies are releasing positive results, will there be enough money in the capital market to absorb these?

Yes there was a slight drop in the price last 3 days. But please look at the volume.

The daily volume of shares traded also has drastically come down as the price came down from 230 levels to 218. Total volume reported on the last trading day is only 8900 shares. This is considerably less than the daily average volume recorded recently for this share.

I wouldn't worry too much when the price come down on low volumes.

Thats collection before the official results out as I could see..
Annual EPS = 33.66
Sector Valuation - 33.66*8.24 = 277-/
Current PE = 221/33.66 = 6.56
Share holders Fund = 2409.4 Mn
ROE = 837.75 / 2409.4 = 34.7%

seems good for me.. this is not a buy recommendation in anyway.. I just elaborated some results Wink

Thanks smallville..yea i know it's not a buy recommendation.I have done my own research on the same lines..
have a good open postion on KGAL..I was just wondering why there was a small short drop in the price..

Everybody was waiting for the quarterly reports. In fact reports were delayed than expected. So no heavy trading was done. some may have tried to push the price down bit.
If prices go down for no reason try to find out if there is something you don't know. If there is nothing don't panic.

If ppl are intelligent enuf to understand the financial reports of KGAL would know results were extremely well and if they can judge at least this stock worth 250 now, nobody would be on selling side on Monday at bid price Wink

Ok, I am going out on my proverbial limb now. I did the same with HOPL and TPL and I was proved right:

The price will gap up on monday, but don't expect it to last. This is in keeping with the theory that prices do not go up just because a company releases a good result. In my book NAMU, KGAL and RICH have delivered a result that does not meet expectations.

(now to bookmark this post, so that I can refer to it later)

ps:I have a small quantity of rich. But I am definitely selling that on tuesday come hell or high water.

what I don't know for sure is that the current price already reflecting the financials. It had short base building around 200 and mini rally to 230 recently. Is this due to expectation of expected? This event is not an unexpected thing. we may have answer tomorrow. This is not because I'm bearish on this but I believe that market discount everything.
N.B. I'm holding big amount bought around 200.
