Initial observation is that you seem to have bought number of shares at the peak of their rallies. HVA, PAP, SEMB.X are some examples.

Now that you have learned a lesson, in the future you can refrain from chasing stocks when they are in a rally. Try to identify good stocks before the crowd does and take your position just before the rally starts or at the intial stage of the rally.

If you want to do investing rather than trading, buy good solid stocks when they fall in to their support levels.

You can refer to this forum to identify good stocks for trading and as well as investing. But remeber to do your own analysis before you make your decision.

You have bought most of them at high level . If you can buy more shares in the same company and make the ave cost low then you can sell with a little profit or little loss thereafter you can make a new profile or otherwise wait till they gain their momentum.Any way all are expecting DPL and ELPL will climb soon.if you can buy another 300 elpl at the current price of around 35 then you can make your ave cost around 40, otherwise you have to wait 10 point gain till you can make a profit.

As other mentioned be careful when you buy a share. If you buy at the top you will automatically be a long term holder from short term ( if you are worried about short term prices)!

ELPL might see some upside if the results are good which is probable due to its diversity. You can consider buying another few hundred ( as a windi5 suggested) to bring down average. Buy below Rs 36 . You can sell with next possible price up on ELPL. Out of banks NTB is stronger than UBC and current prices are attractive. BOPL you bought at good price. But tea rich plantations be careful as the wage issue is there.

Given that you already have the portfolio (commenting on current situation), your portfolio is not terrible as it appears Share Wise ( price wise it is not mostly good). Most of them you can hold Long Term if that is a choice if you are willing to forget about it for 1 year atleast. If not

a) hold and dispose with the next rally to minimize losses
b try to buy a few at lesser prices and bring down the average and dispose in the next rally
( when ever it will be)

BTW with DPL I would be most careful ( even for medium term).

Im just wondering, why your broker guided you to buy those shares at the peak? And why you hurried to buy those shares at the peak? Who is your broker?

BOPL - Hold
DPL - Hold
ELPL - Buy a little to average down
FLCH - Hold
HVA - No idea, i've never traded or looked at it.
LGL - Hold
MARA - Wait till the current price settles (recently ran past 13) and buy a little to average down
NTB - Hold or buy more... depends on your financial situation. NTB is an investors stock so no problem with having a loss here. NTB is a good stock with steady dividends.
PAP - Wait till current price stabilises and try and collect a little more on the cheap. Be very fussy with price
PCH - No idea, i've never traded or looked at it.
SEMB.X - Hold and pray
UBC - No idea, i've never traded or looked at it.

Hope this helps
