Friends, Last week we show heavy trading of JINS. Some figures are given below;

Total No. of Shares Issued = 363 mln
Total shares traded during 25th may to 3rd june = 80 mln(Approximately)
Highest price traded = Rs. 22.10
Quantity of shares traded beyond Rs. 20.00 = 45 mln(Approximately)
Total Quantity traded during this period as a % = 22% of total shares issued.

Looking at these figures I guess that something is happening behind the screen. (This is not a buy/sell recomondation pl. )

What do you think?

I noted that in another post you named JINS as good one to buy. But no reasons were given .That is why I did little calculations. The figures found were very interesting. May be you too love these numbers.

Do you really think there is some behind-the-scene stuff going on with JINS?

I rather think its just the performance of the company.

MV = sector PE * Earnings

Bank Finance & Insurance PE = 18.7
http://www.cse.lk/sectors/sectorSummary.htm

Earnings = 2.1
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=JINS:SL

MV = 18.7 * 2.1 = 39.27

Am i missing something?

May be you are correct. Sometimes it can be a pre-acquitition rally too. Any way good to watch and if possible earn somthing.

Am i missing something?

in cse mostly share are undervalue shares,
we are going some big players they earn more and more money

so,
we must research about share then we have to buy or sell

i agree with JINS ( kam2011 )

JINS it deserves this movement, manipulation or not. It has been stagnant for several years from time of its IPO at Rs 12.
Am not sure whether it should be valued at sector PE but is still hugely undervalued compared to it competitors.
