Most people thought UNP government could improve the economy. But now everybody feel, present UNP government failed to improve to economy. During their stay Dollar went up from 132 to 149...

A drop in the value of the currency is very good for the local economy so long as there is stable inflation. Domestic firms become more price competitive.
