out of 50 million shares offered, 20 million is reserved for retailers. that is only enough to satisfy 1,000 shares each for 20,000 applicants....so depending on the number of applications a retailer MAY end up getting 1,000 shares or even less.

Is this a good investment friend? I read some news item on this issue and it says that 10 for 1 share split was given to old share holdesrs before this IPO. If that is correct their cost of a share is only one rupee. will they sell them in the market after listing? If that is the case is it worthwhile to apply for this ?

Not true there were no split after PP
