Dear Friend, Do not get depressed ! What ever falls should rise again. It is matter of time.

Consider continue buying at the lowest prices IF you have extra money.

suicide in never an option buddy. you are not alone. even my portfolio is filled with the red. not only mine, i'm sure it is the case for most of us here. it is depressing to see it. if you have the holding power and all your stock picks are fundamentally strong, just hold on to them. we may see better days ahead. most of the stock prices have come down to 52 week lows. this is the best time to collect and keep. select good shares and make your purchases. once the market makes a turn around, you will jump in joy Smile

Hey..... my portfolio is full of red. Be optimistic! What is happening right now is people are dumping all the fundamentally sound stocks and running behind junk stocks to make quick money.
Do you remember what has happened from October to mid December last year?? At that time too all of my portfolio wend red. However during the first couple of months this year i have made big money. So don't lose hope. What ever goes down will go up again. So if you have some extra money try to collect some fundamentally sound stocks at lower prices.....don't go behind junk stocks.

These prices are not the normal values, nobody sells willingly at these low levels.... Broker firms must be insisting them to sell anything in excess.!

I know it is a sad situation ..

Once the credit clearance is over prices returns to previous levels. Next week it will be a different story.

No need to commit suicide , just hold on to existing shares.. and try to smile Smile

It's hard to believe. Even lbo says, massive drop in the market is due to force selling. But still we didn't get any confirmation.

have faith.. the market will turn around, hopefully sooner than later.. just hang in there.

if you are hoping to collect at these prices out of personal experience i would hold on to some cash to buy shares as soon as the market starts picking up rather than while its falling as you never know what the bottom exactly is.. you would be further discouraged if the market dips even more after you collect.

I may be wrong, if I am pls feel free to correct me

Monster, you just say that some posts published by members has only words "happy trading" and that is just to increase the number of posts. But in a single post of mine you cant see only those two words .However I find with your above post you have increased your number by one more post with writing just one and half lines. But even now here in my post you easily count words more than in your above post friend. I hope everybody should respect each others views. Thank you.

@kam2011, BTW I was not referring to you. Have I ever said you were doing this? I was telling this generally. Why you are coming with the gun. Be cool.

I just express my opinion, not concerned about the number of posts, ….reputation etc. Not planning to contest any elections…. Only worried about the CSE which is a place where I invest for a long period of time….

Yes , You are right Aamiable, . We are here to read others views and share the knoledge to learn more about the stock market (CSE) behavior with an intention to make our strategies most effective. How the people get +rep or -rep is not that important. But when a member exspress his views on others posts we should be very careful not to heart them.
