I have several queries regarding the above mentioned IPOs. They are;

1. Have any of the company done private placements, If so when and how much ??
2. This is a question in general how to apply for an IPO, I work abroad and I have my bank affairs with BOC and Commercial banks, But how can I get my bank to issue me a bank draft or a gurante for an IPO purpose??, I don't have close relationship with those banks

1. both of companies had private placements around early this year. both are same as IPO prices at 5 rupee and 25 rupees respectively. you can see the investors who got shares at the private placements by looking at prospectus.

2.to get a bank draft you do not have to be a close relationship. but to get bank garantee you may need close relationship and you need to have assets to proof your income.

both are very good companies with good managements.
I think both prices can go up initially because the issuied quantity is low compare to softlogic, flch or expolanka.
also no difference between private placement prices and IPO.
I applied both of them similar amount. vallibel 1000 and browns 5000 shares.
it is better not to apply too much shares because issued quantity is very small so maximum shares you may get some where between 200-1000 for vallibel and 1000-5000 for browns in the retail sector.
