Generally this company is looking good....but have to wait until issue the prospectus..Its own to Heyleys group....

We don't know the fundamentals the priced is based on.

So it is too early decide whether it is good or bad.

But yes, even a good IPO can get not enough attraction when market is negative/dull

One thing to remember : When this IPO first trades m who knows CSE can be a happy place.

Market leader in aluminum industry in sri lanka (virtually no competition from other two companies Lanka alluminium and Swistek as all are now indirectly controlled by KDDP)..lets see IPO prospectus to decide whether it is value or not.

Well there is ALUF but not sure what competitions they give these days

Alutec Anodising & Machine Tools, known as the Alumex group bought by Hayleys group for Rs.2.185 Billion in Nov 2010.

In the same month Hayleys disposed 700,000 shares for Rs. 942,613,636 to Akbar Bros, Hirdamani Group and Star Pack Investments.

As at 31/03/2013 Hayleys had 1,200,010 shares (60% holding).

Now interesting question is the original shares were split into how many?

Basically by selling a stake to private investors and now IPO, Hayleys recovers most of its cash which it invested to buy the firm... Hmmmmm

seems that only 333000 shares will be trading along with IPO shares after the listing. all other non-public shares are locked in.

Saw huge turnover today about 54Mil, but EPS down by half compering to da prev.Quarter, anybody can explain??
