මේ එක් අන්තයක සිටින අය හිතන හැටිය​. ඔය නිදහස් අද්‍යාපනය වැනසීමේ කතාව අපි දැක්කේ 1970-80 ගනන් වල සිට. එය තම කල්ලියට තරුණයන් එකතු කර ගැනීමට ඇති ආයුධයකි.

ඒ දිනවල හොඳම විහිලුවක් වූයේ නිදහස් අද්‍යාපනය සඳහා ඓතිහාසික  උපකාරයක් කළ ලලිත් ඇතුලත්මුදලි ලා ගේ මහපොලින් ජීවත් වෙමින් නිදහස් අද්‍යාපනය වනසනවා යැයි දෙස් දෙවොල් තබමින් ඊනියා සතුරෙක් මවා ගෙන එම පාලනයට විරුධව පාරවල් දිගේ පෙලපාලි යාමය​.  

මෙතෙක් පැවති සියලු රජයයන් අද්‍යාපනය සඳහා අවධානය යොමු කල මුත් දහස් සංක්‍යාත දරුවන් ගේ අද්‍යාපනය විනාස කළේ මේ විරෝධාකල්ප කාරයන් .

ලංකාවේ ජන ගත වී ඇති මහ පිළිලයක් වන්නේ සල්ලි කාරයන්ට ඇති උපන් ගෙයි විරෝධයය​.
මෙය මා හිතන ලෙස නිදහසට පෙර සිටම ධනපතියන් ගේ පීඩනයට ලක්වූ දුප්පතුන් ඉලක්ක කරගත් මාක්ස්වාදී සංවිධාන ජනතාව වෙත පැතිරවූ දෙයකි. එකල එහි යම් සාධරනත්වයක් වීය​.
නමුත් මේ පෝසතුන් යනු දුප්පතුන් ගේ   සතුරන් පිරිසක් ය යන්න අද දුප්පතුන්ටම හානියක් ගෙන දෙන සිතුවිල්ලකි.

ඒ බොහෝ සල්ලි කාරයන් සල්ලි හම් බ කිරීම සඳහා ජීවිතයම කැප කල අයුරු කවුරුත් නොසලකති. සල්ලි කාරයන් සල්ලි වලින් උපාධි ගන්නවා යන්න මේ මානසිකත්වය මත ගොඩ නංවන මිත්‍යාවකි.

ජීවිතයේ අවස්ථාවන් යනු ධනවාදී ලෝකයේ ධනය , හැකියාව​, බුද්ධිය​, කුලය , ජාතිය , උපන් රටේ ආර්ථිකය   ආදී බොහෝ දේ මත තීරණය වෙයි.  

මුදල් ඇති කම එක් බලයක් පමණි. දුප්පත් අයට අසාධාරන වෙනවා යැයි කියා මුදල් බලය නැවැත්විය නොහැක​.
දුප්පත් අයට නොමිලේ ඉගැන්වීමට උසස් පෙල පෙරනය භාවිත වේ. ඉන් පෙරා ගන්නා ටික දෙනෙකුට මහජන මුදලින් අද්‍යාපනය ලබා දේ.
ඉතිරි අයට මුදල් බලය ලබාගෙන ඉන්පසු එම මුදල් භාවිතාකර ඉගෙනීමට අවස්ථාව තිබිය යුතුය​. මුලින් සුලු රැකියාවක් කර ඉන් මුදල් බලය ලබගෙන ඉහල යන්න අවස්ථාව තිබිය යුතුය​.  කාර්මිකයකුට ඉංජිනේරු විභාග සමත් විය හැකිනම් වරලත් ඉංජිනේරුවකු විය හැක .
නර්ස් කෙනෙකුට අවශ්‍ය නම් දොස්තර කෙනෙක් වන්නට අවස්ථාව තිබිය යුතුය​.  අද දොස්තරලා නර්ස් ලට දොස්තර වෙන්න නොව නර්සිං උපාධියක් දෙනවාට පවා විරුද්ධව හෙලුවෙන් නටති.

එක්තරා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවක දුප්පත් කම්කරු වෙක් ලෙස සේවය කළ මා දන්නා තරුණ මහත්මයෙක් පසුව තාක්‍ෂණික විද්‍යාලයක අද්‍යාපනය ලබා ඉන්පසු වෙනත් රැකියාවක් කර ඒ මුදලින් IESL විභාග සමත්ව අද එම ආයතනයේ වරලත් ඉංජිනේරු අද්‍යක්‍ෂ ධූරයකට  පත්ව ඉතාම සාර්ථක ව සේවය කරයි.

මුදල් යනු   ඕනෑම කෙනෙකුට තම අභිවෘද්ධිය සඳහා භාවිතා කළ හැකි ලෝක සම්මත බලයකි.
එය තමන් දුක් විඳ ලබා ගන්නවාද​, තම දෙමවුපියන් ගෙන් ලැබුනාද යන්න යෙදවීමේ ඇති අයිතියට අදාල නැත​.

අද කොටස් වෙළෙඳපලේ ආයෝජනය කරනවා යැයි කියූ විට සමහර පවුල්වල   අය පවා බලන්නේ සල්ලි මත පීනන්න හදන 'කැත​' චරිතයක් ලෙසය​. සල්ලි හම්බකරන අය ධනපති හැත්ත ලෙස හැඳින්වූ කාලයක් තිබුණි.
අප ආයෝජනය කරන්නේ ද මුදල් වල ඇති බලය ජීවිතයට එක් කර ගැනීමටය​. සංචාරය​, දරුවන් ගේ අද්‍යාපනය​, නිවාස ආදී නොයෙක් දේ ලබා ගැනීමටය​.  

A/L O/L pass  වීමට බැරි කෙනෙකු ඔබට අනුවම 'ඉහල වෛද්‍ය  විභාග ' සමත් වන්නේ කෙසේද යන්න ඔබට නොවැටහීම ගැන කණගාටුවක් ඇත..

ඒකම තමයි ඉතින් මාත් කියන්නේ.  වසර 5 ක් පුරා වෛද්‍ය පාඨමාලාව අද්‍යයනය කර තේරුම් ගෙන අව්සානයේ සමත් වෙන්න බැරි නම් ඉතින් ප්‍රශ්නේ  ඉවරයි නේ.
( සල්ලි වලට උපාධි සහතිකෙ දෙනවා යැයි හිතාගෙන ඉන්න අයට මෙය අදාල නොවේ)
පුලුවන් එකා සමත් වෙයි. සමත් උනා කියන්නෙ qualified .  
බුද්ධිය හා දැනුම ලබා ගත්තේ මහජන මුදලින් ඉගෙන ගෙනද , බදු ගෙවමින් තමන් ගෙ මුදලින් ඉගෙන ගෙනද යන්න අදාල නැත​.

කෙසේ උනත් බුද්ධි වර්ධනය හා කාර්‍යක්‍ෂමතාව ඒ ඒ වයසට වෙනස් වේ.
ඉහලින් AL සමත් සමහර අය කැම්පස් වල වාත වෙන බව ඔබ දන්නවා ඇතැයි සිතමි.  එමෙන්ම වසර 18-19 දී මනස ව්‍යාකූල ව AL අඩු ලකුණු ගත් බොහෝදෙනෙක් පසු කාලවලවයස 24-25-30 වනවිට ඉතාම දක්‍ෂ අය වූ  අවස්ථා  බොහෝය​.

මා දන්නා සමහර   ආයතනවල පාලනාධිකාරියේ ඉහලින්ම වැඩ පෙන්නා කටයුතු කරන වැඩි දෙනා මේ වගේ අයයි. ඒ අය ඉදිරියේ සමහර පොතේ ගුරා ලා මිරිකෙති. වෛද්‍ය ක්‍ෂේත්‍රයේද රෝහල් වලද මෙවැනි සිද්ධීන් ඇත​.
ඉහල සාර්ථකත්වයක් ලබන සමහර විසේසඥ වෛද්‍ය වරු කැම්පස් එකේ දී සාමාන්‍ය් පුද්ගලයන් ය​.

ඒ නිසා  එක දිනයක එක කඩ ඉමකදී පසු ගාමී උනා කියා ඔහු හෝ ඇය නුසුදුස්සෙකු, මෝඩයකු , බැරි කෙනෙකු  නොවේ.
ඔහු සමහර විට ලංකාවේ යම් ක්‍ෂේත්‍රයක බිහි වෙන  දක්‍ෂතම පුද්ගලයා විය හැක​.

So it will be a totally different institute to SAITM. And I guess it will be better if they introduce better entrance qualifications apart from deep pockets too. 

One thing I would like to see as a one solution to this mess,  they can offer some percentage, lets say 40% places as scholarships to next students who miss outs government university medical faculty at A/L. 
That will raise the quality of the institute  and results as well as it will offer better return to the country. 
End of the day we want to make sure the person who there to look after any Sri Lankan patient, have that ability.

Why this became about poor and rich? It's so sad to see guys think like 16th century. It's not like high cast controlling others. In a way they insulting higher middle class and rich kids who get highest marks and go to medical faculties. Because most of Sri Lankan university students not from that poor families. 
Are you indirectly saying all rich kids are failing A/Ls? 
Other hand, how can you categorise all those are full of jealous , and hate. It's more like you are more jealous and hate, because what ever reason . 

Every individual have their own story. Every one should be judge by their actions , but not by their family , birth, or how rich or poor they are. 

specially if you are a buddhist , how can you think something like that, let alone saying it. These students are selected for universities. They not fighting for their rights, but future generations .

I agree, every part of society have different people. Some jealous , some hate each others, But some with compassion. But you can't categorise people just like that just because you think they poor.

What we need in a country , Law and order for everyone. 
Then basic human decency , how you treat each others regardless of anyones background, family status , or if they rich or poor. 


I don't think any decent person will argive against that or any poorest as they don't have anything to lose if that happen, but only few selfish minority will act against it as now happening in our country, because  they don't like playing fair.

Regulations are there for the betterment of a nation.

If prevailing laws are not supportive for the cause then you have change them . Time to time they are changed everywhere .

I saw some fools of coast conservation demolishing a newly built hotel in Hikkaduwa.  The reason for demolishing was: it was an illegal construction . Then they gave permission to build a new hotel , same plan, same location.

If SAITM was  started without proper paperwork then, as a nation,  we have to absolve them and give fullest support to fulfill any such requirements .
Destroying assets of a country is not the way to any-palanaya.

Making and running a motor vehicle without permission is illegal. If someone build and drive a car with levitation capabilities it is against the law. So we can destroy it , Cheena or Japana will make it and sell to us.
We are geared for such things.
We destroyed our golden creation , Ragama PMC in 1980s . Malaysia, Bangladesh , Australia, Russia, India are selling Medical education to us now.

kasippu , kudu, kansa all are assets of some kind but we are talking about progressive things.
