LDEV Will see some price drop due to its uptrend (3.50 - 14.50).. thats normal bcoz there are lots of people with more than 150% profit.. they might realize part of their profit..

If tea prices remain above 550 for next six months period LDEV could reach to price earning ratio 3 ..

But these prediction can change if PESTLE factors change.. (election , natural disaster or new regulations )

Currently LDEV has the lowest PE in the plantation sector with a PE less than 3. It s due for an upsurge after consolidating at 13.80-14.40levels for the last two weeks.Further we can expect at least Rs 200mn+profit for the next two qtr which means earnings of over Rs8for the year.We can reasonably expect Rs 2-3 Dividends

It seems you want show some rosy picture about LDEV.. you should analyze SFP of LDEV first before making this kind of statements..

Jackpot for LDEV Shareholders.
Rights issue @Rs2.50 for a share of Rs 13 trading on a PE of only 2.
Those who buy the share even at Rs 15, the theoretical XR price would be only Rs 8.75 . If the share trades even at Rs 11 after the Rights issue you will still make a gain of over 25%

And also dont forget that the Rights could even trade at over Rs 10/=

Yes. 1:1 Rights issues are detrimental in this era. Many decades ago they were gold mines. Those days they issued 1 for 4 or 1 for 5 .

Lankem කියන්නෙ ඉතින් පාඩු කාලෙත් ලාබ කාලෙත් rights issue කරල සල්ලි උරන ජාන ලක්‍ෂනයක් .
අනිත් එක 1 ට 1 ක්ම දෙනව කියන්නේ EPS බාගෙට බහිනව කියන එක.

පසුගිය සමයේ රුපියල් 4 ට තිබුන ශෙයා එක 14 දක්වා අරන් ගිය අය rights issue එක ගැන දැනුවත් වී හිටියා වෙන්න පුලුවන්. එත් වටිනවා කියා හිතල තිබුන නම් බලපෑම අඩුවෙයි. අත ගහපු සමහර අය නම් 2017 මාර්තු මාසෙම 2.50 ට 1:1 rights issue announce කරල තියෙන බව දැක්කෙ නැතුව ඇති. rights නැතුව EPS හදගෙන value කරපු අයගේ ප්‍රමාණය වැඩි නම් කොටස් මිල වැටෙන්න පුලුවන්.

! What I think is the ratio ( 1:1 ) and the price ( LKR2.50 ) forces LDEV.N to be around LKR16.00 - 17.00 range in order to be competitive within the plantation sector. So it will settle after the rights in an area around LKR7.00 - 9.00 .. This will be an interesting period to see how the sentiment turns the fate of LDEV.N in coming days ..

with the split the Net Asset Value will fall from
Net Assets per Share (Rs.) 13.55
to Rs 6.77/-
Hence we can see the share settle around 7 to 9 depending on the market hunger for this share.
The volumes will be doubled so, pumping and dumping would dilute as well with many shares.

but if this fake run was done along with the rest of the plantation shares.
then the buyers would have collected around 2.50 towards 12. ( 6 after split).
So after spliit they would wash off thier hand selling everything above 6 and profiting high.
Many will be left with shares above 6 and still thinking they are on winning side at NAV is around 6.77 and the company is profiting.
but the real dealers have pumped and gone out by then....

LDEV went from 2.5 to 13 cause of turnaround.
Now people started slowly collecting HVA for the next quarter results.thia will once more pass 8 with next quarter results nearing jan.its collections now. From 6.50 to 7.00 range.
