Well, I am not sure if it will touch 120 but there will be a spike today as well given that its 3.5% div yield even with the current market price which is very attractive so I expect a rally where this will at least settle around 105.

It is likely that LLUB will declare its 4th Interim Dividend for 2020 during the week commencing Feb 15th 2021.

Being a shareholder, I follow LLUB's performance and am expecting a payout of Rs 2.75 per share in Feb: Anything higher would make me happy, and anything lower would be disappointing.

Rs 2.75 would bring the Annual Dividend for 2020 to Rs 9.75, which is a good performance when one considers the pandemic situation. (Dividend for 2019 was Rs 8.25)

At current market price of Rs 106.10, the LLUB share is available at an expected Dividend Yield of 9.2%. If you know of any other shares that yield that much, please let me know.

LLUB wont be able to give the same divident throughout. Check the last quarter financials.

Btw HPEL gives more yield.

No, smnsam,

I too waited for 105/=, But no down trend. I bought my full qty @ 108/= today. This is follow a slow and  steady up trend. With the dividend announcement this will go further.....

See the NICE graph....

If LLUB declares 3rd Interim Dividend of Rs 2.50 per share this month, that would justify price in excess of Rs 100.
most likely that will pay , some times it would more than 2.50 .  Laughing Laughing . 3 to 4. let's see. but 2.5 is sure.

Hi, suku502.

Your prediction in Oct '20 about LLUB's 3rd Interim Dividend was very accurate.

So, how much do you think they will pay as 4th Interim Dividend next month?
I am expecting Rs 2.75, but they exceeded my expectations last time.

What is your prediction this time?
Do you have any information about how LLUB's sales was during the Oct-Dec '20 quarter?

I expect 2.75 or more this time. Last quarter they showed improved earnings. I hope this quarter will be continuation of same or higher with there improved foreign operations.

Hi, suku502.

LLUB has declared Rs 5.00 as 1st Interim Dividend for 2021.
Revenue is up by 53% and EPS has tripled compared to Q1 last year.

I anticipate that the share price will increase by 40%, but gradually.
For a short term 15% gain, consider buying at current level and selling at Rs 110+ before the XD date (24 May 2021).

2021 - Rs 5.00 = 1st Dividend...

2020 - Rs 9.00 = 1st Dividend + 2nd Dividend + 3rd Dividend + 4th Dividend

2019 - Rs 8.25 = 1st Dividend + 2nd Dividend + 3rd Dividend + 4th Dividend

What this implies is that:
1. LLUB is likely to declare dividends three more times for 2021.
2. You will probably observe a further increase in LLUB's price in the coming days.

another small point to add..given that llub has given 5rs dividant as the first interim...mainly due to increased profits of this Q.. most likley the coming dividants shall be around 4-5 rs... so its best to hold since the stock has now fully matured !

SoftLogic Stock Broker -
Maintain HOLD. LLUB earnings in 1Q2021 grew 198% YoY to LKR 1.5bn mainly driven by c.20% upward price revision in February 2021. The price revision was due to the anticipation of cost escalation as base oil price increased 31% YTD to USD 1,377/MT as of May-2021. Nevertheless, we believe LLUB’s margin may come under pressure in the future quarters as 1Q performance could be due to selling low-cost inventory at a higher revised price. With a sustained high dividend payout at 95% levels, combined with lower capex would offer some respite amidst an uncertain outlook for LLUB’s volume growth. Thus, LLUB derives a total return of ~10% to its TP of LKR 107.0 (capital appreciation of 0% and forward dividend yield of 10%) whilst currently trades at 9.5x PER based on 2021E, which is in par with its historical PE. Hence maintain HOLD.

Greetings,

Did anyone received the 1st interim dividend of Rs. 5.00 from LLUB.N0000?
The Dividend yield of LLUB.N0000 is better than FD rates. Is there any other shares which offers such.
Please comment if you know any of such.

Thank you.

Yes, 1st interim dividend of LLUB was credited to my bank account on 28/05.

In addition to LLUB, you might like to look at GRAN & TILE (DY for 2020-21 > 10%), both of which I am holding.
