I think this will go up tomorrow. Today and Friday the drop was mainly due to panic as the major shareholder sold the rights in the market. People were worried that the rights may have been purchased by a trader who will not subscribe and that could have made the right issue a disaster. I think now that they know the 8mn block will be subscribed for tomorrow we may see a boom. Anyway it's unlikly that ACME.N will come below 12.50 So the right can move up to at least 40 cents. But my gut feeling is there will be more than just 40 cents caz probably ACME.N will move past 13 with this news.

And unlike the AAF right issue which had 280 million rights ACME only has 25 million rights. And out of that 8 million will defiantly not be traded tomorrow. Its also unlikely that the no. 2 to 5 shareholders will dispose their rights. They hold 9 million rights. So max there will be around 8 million left in the market. And out of that 5.7 million traded today at 10 cents. So it wouldn't be that difficult to push this up tomorrow.

Fundamentally their are in deep trouble.

Steady decline in EPS and NAPS for last five years.

Sustainable Growth rate is in minus (-21.7%). Need heavy borrowing or financing to do a turnaround or somebody should take over.

Thre were frauds, accounts not accurately maintained, audit issues, quality issues etc. etc.

They have been struggling with these for some time. The business is good but sustainability is the issue. The bigger Issue are the employees. They drive the business. So useless fixing the exteriors. They need a solid team.

If we can identify companies which are exposure to acquisitions (takeovers) there could be some great opportunities. Great investors will acquire some good businesses. Some will buy loss making entities and then they will make them profitable. If we can find some loss making companies which are going to make profits in the future then we can buy their stocks at unbelievable prices in a market like today.

I believe current period as one of the best period to accumulate quality stocks (quality businesses) from the market. In bull market, short term volatility and market pauses create opportunities. I believe after current market pause there could be break out to the next level and next phases.

See the financials for 31/03/2015. The losses are unbearable.

I thought this company will re-cooperate quickly after the drastic measure that were taken. No way.

This company is doomed and anyone having large quantities should sell ASAP.

The real situation is this:

85 employees were sent on VRS which cost 77 mio.
Trade debtors have increased by 9 mio.
Inventories increased by 42 mi,o.
They are selling the products at almost cost.
Gross Profit less than 10%
Interest paid 129 mio.

I think the Morale and leadership is poor and they need a better team!

I don't think the three months figures are good enough.
The leaks are not fully plugged and the profits are bleeding due to the high borrowings of 934 million.

Moreover, there is a greater risk of solvency.

The monthly reveune is 93 mio. Vs the trade debtors are 397 mio. That works out to 4.5 months credit sales. Which company can afford to give credit to that extent.
This means that ACME is forced to stick to a clientale that would accept their (UN) quality products and get orders ONLY due to their bargain prices.

How long can they do this. The debtors will will increase. I say that what is happening there is that there are market returns not booked and reduced from the sales and also rejected materials still lying with the customers and not accounted for.

Once those entries are done there will be greater write off of materials over 200 million in year 2015/2016. Already 42 million written off in 2014/15 and that is quite high for a small company with sale of just 1 billion.

So forum members , be aware and avoid this share. Also, big investors please take over this good business and we shall help you with the investments.

They have some BIG clients!

Yes I started this topic to educate the members not because I have "Piles". I do not hold ACME to sell at 10+ or buy at -8 and I am not promoting ACME or demoting. This is just for information so that members are aware of it.

I do mot earn money by doing posting like this. Just the satisfaction that I was of some use to this forum.
