We must appreciate that the Govt took necessary steps to contain the spread of CV in comparison to US which is suffering due to Trump who acted as a Mudalali wanting to open shop for business as usual and not taking the threat seriously till matters got out of hand.

US elected Dumbest president ever no argument about and they are paying the price for the mistake. But when we closely look into Trump and his policies they are very close to MR and the clans, That is why Putin is very interested in Trump. Few Examples fack nationalization, Tax cut for corporate. racism, Discrimination people, cease all participation in the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change, Promoting dictator (kim jong un), Most of all lying to the nation.

Fortunately irrespective of the numbers infected and going to be infected, the positive side in Sri Lanka is that our death toll remains at 7  and most of them had other health complications. May be the virus is not heat resistant and also it could belong to a lower grade strain. Hence, the govt should treat this as just another disease (similar to seasonal flu) and we have to learn to live with it, having mandatory restrictions such as social distancing and wearing of face masks be made compulsory for the time being until the pandemic subsides or a suitable treatment is found.
In my opinion there is no way the numbers infected are going to be brought under control, as their will be carriers without any symptoms. Under these circumstances, so long as the recovery records are encouraging we should consider ourselves lucky and look forward to opportunities in the current scenario and build the economy.
The measures taken up to now is praiseworthy as we did not know where we stood. But to continue with the overwhelming fear phobia could only spell disaster. So, hope we get back to business and count on our blessings.
