The World Health Organisation (WHO) had informed the Health Ministry that a vaccine approved by the WHO may be available for COVID-19 shortly and the ministry was preparing for that, Health Minister .

Distant future!!! 42.4 million cases in the world at present. Even if they start mass producing it at this very moment, It will take months to produce that kind of staggering number of vaccines.

Not to mention that Sri Lanka will not be the first place such a vaccine will be issued, if WHO ever start issuing such.

Better take precautions and remain safe!!! It's better if the government act as if such a vaccine will never be found rather than depend on such claims by WHO who till very recent denied even using face masks can curb spreading the decease. Shocked

Well said...lets hope the govt resorts to the measures required to curtail the spread rather than depending on this claim.
