TpL has issued its financial reports ,WHAT A Grate Report... compare from 2019 Apr to 6 months period , 2020 Apr to 6 months profit has jumped 1000%.

The profit has come largely due to increase in GP . Sales wise compared to last year it is not a significant increase isn't it.

@Teller, earlier you downgrade TPL. TPL value is Rs.50. cant expect more results. did you remember ?? today, you quickly came and PUT TPL qtr report, and you realse video TPL qtr report. remember.. earlier this share you downgrade. you didn't see TPL future earnings. Laughing

Earlier Tea prices didnt recover . It suddenly happend with Indias shortage . If you see TPL report earlier , they were not good. Even last year it was in loss. You have to change your investment decision time to time . Nothing is 100% and nothing is permanent . What quick came out? , you can see my Tpl video published in weeks earlier.

Today one guy has sold its Entire TPL shares due to one youtuber. You should see the future not past. Dont follow any one even me . You do your own studies.

@Teller, you can see future. before 2months ago, everyone clearly knows, have high demand for tea. and future perform well. you only promote palm oil. you downgrade so many times TPL When you promoting others.. today what happened..

You dont have sense . We dont want to stuck our money long time . We should think about quick return on short time . world Tea market report came in recently . So i came to know its guaranteed run . In same way i recommended wata@20, Elpl@23,Kgal@48,Namu@100,Kval@70 ,
We talk based on figures not based on sense . How ever youtube followers collected enough TPL on time . Some sold today due to one over smart youtuber. I know you are one of them .

Yes, i checked the ip , youtube uploaded ip and equity forum IP both are equal . @sl- investor, why you are doing such third class things . Its funny , if every one knows Tea price up , why you didnt recommend your followers .? Why you have told plantation rally is fake.

but just for curiosity, how did you get the YouTube uploaded IP?
(I thought it is not even practical even with producing a court order)

Yes , this scenario works this way , sl-investor has uploaded my youtube videos screen shot @8.54 PM, As equity forum user , there is a way to get ip and suburb city. As im the admin of my channel, there is a way to look live viewers location . So my video snap shot time means , its watched time also its equal to forum posting time . So approximately 800x800 m2 , same user did this . And the comments which i got earlier videos and the commented time, i k now who commented . So both are same . Assumption is correct .

anyway it is not a IP comparison, it is location comparison right?
Youtube analytics doesn't give you the viewers IP , right?

It is obvious that two locations should be same.
To take a screenshot someone should watch the video.
so same person should login to equity forum to post it.

so it is obvious the location that youtube video was watched and location that user login to equity forum is same.

so it is not a technical proof that this youtuber and SL-investor is one person.

I am not interested about this youtuber or SL-invester or whether it is same person or not.
I am only interested on this tracking and tracing.

I jump into this thread just because of my curiosity on IP tracing and tracking.
But then i went through TPL report. yes , results are good.
is it that great?
No. traders can get something out of it, but long term investors should pay their attention to details in this report.

at a glance why promoters say that a great performance. their tag line "profit up by more than 1000%".
But these are the detail you have to pay your attention.

Revenue was increased by 9% (due to last time low/negative profit, now promoters are trying to highlight the profit improvement as a percentage to fool you ).

Now you have to find out how they have increased their revenue .
1. does it started to generated revenue from something they have invested in few years ago or long time back.
2. is it because of world tea (and other ex: Rubber) price
3. is it because of USD to LKR rate difference
4. is it because of operational (including sales cost) cost cut down
5. have they produced more (capacity increased)

Once you found out the factors cause to this 9% revenue increase , then you have to find out "how sustainable these factors".
ex: if it is because of tea price and USD to LKR rates, then you should be able to predict the world tea price and USD to LKR rates for the next two years.

if it is because of "increased capacity and utilization" , then what is the reason, have they invested on new machine, has number of workers increased, is it something one off thing because of whether conditions.

So my point is , promoters will use very attractive tag lines to promote normal report or performance as excellent reports.
NOTE : i know nothing about TPL, this might be a supper report, but pay your attention, just dont follow youtubers who ask you to sell plantation shares or invest on shares because it profit increased by 32000%.

As a person who works in Telecom side, I can definitely say this is a wrong assumption. there are not enough IP addresses to give to each and every person so we bundle thousands of users to a single IP (Technical term NAT) so it's common for people to have the same IP address.

But we can track individual users from another way to suppport criminal investigation activities

You can not compare plantation company quarter on quarter, if you compare recent report to earlier quarter, its not reasonable for plantation stocks . Normally business is seasonal and crop may decide on whether conditions ,world supply , current tea socks ,etc.
I compared here recent 6 months vs last year 6 months in same period ( remember recent 6 month 32,000% profit increase even country lock down situations too- previous year loss 533,000 rupees converted to 176 million profit).
When it comes to TPL , its looks production same but Revenue increased due to world tea prices . Rupee depreciation impact is not much if you compare usd Vs Lkr.
But TPL has 1200 short term investment which will add 1 eps easily . They own 2 hydro power units (51%), also they started to produce massive production of greeen tea. Actually what TPL tried to did , do some value additions rather than selling raw tea. Example same like dilmah , how they are in profit always (value addition ) , also Tpl has some nice management practices like profit sharing to employees. If estate get more profit , portion of profit will be distributed. So employee motivation will increase. Its crystal clear this is just the start of their journey , and they will produce quality tea further . Tpl is the best tea production in the country in terms of quality and most of the time they get the highest per KG. Further expansion plan on Tpl business discussed in recently . Buy hold sell up to you but For me Tpl is a gem . Its looks totally debt free company with a quality cash flow. Unexperienced youtubers will compare quarter on quarter and spread the negatives.
