CDAX software dilemma

I had 400 AHPL shares prior sub-division, the average was 178.50.

Now that I have received additional shares, my number of shares have been doubled to 800, but average price remains the same therefore it shows a huge loss.

I use CDAX software for trading. Are you CDAX users see the same? Can someone tell me how the same scenario handled in other software?

i think u have speak to the IT division of ur broker firm, for me JKH price got adjusted for split

I guess we need not worry too much about the av price shown in the software. It does not have any effect on actual costs.

I don't think so. If I sell now I'm selling at a loss, amounts doesn't get adjusted. Even if amounts gets adjusted why CDAX cannot adjust the average price in the first place than showing incorrect values.

Anyways I have to call my Broker to get this fixed.

Don't depend on their calculations. Keep your own records (in Excel)

You calculate your loss on what shows up on CDAX is it? Not based on how much you paid and how much you got back?

Yes I do maintain my own records.

However, at the end of the day, does it matter how much I have in my excel when my broker shows less?

If you go to Account Statement and Account Monitor under Client Details, you can get the actual values.

that does not in any way change the cost you incurred. don't worry too much about it unless you want it to look nice
