This seems going to fly. Highly undervalued. Many assets not revalued thus balance sheet do not give the correct value of the company.

Also Given interest on deposit not attractive these days expecting a big announcement either dividend or share buy back as it seems attractive to the owners to buy back before revaluing. Surely their net assets currently not 15.

1.7+ billion cash(FD). The company is really in good financial position for a new venture.

Yes you are right. They're up for a new investment. But if they put artificial selling and keep price down its a bonus for a acquirer and there is a possibility of a takeover bid for cheap price with good cash in hand.

You are correct ErangaDS & Kaish86,

Prevailing conditions in the market is really ideal for a new investment with sufficient government stimulus package.

Did anybody attended the AGM ? Any proposal did they put forward to S/H ?

Game on. 120 k buying @ 9 and no body wanted to sell. This will hit 15 within no time. I think company has done its asset valuation which was due FY 2019-20

Yes there was 100000+ buy order throughout the day, no body wanted to sell!!!
Net asset @31/12/2019 rs15.66(cash’ rs12.58, property value??) in a revaluation their net asset will increase atleast by 10RS (real value would be somewhere around rs26/)

Any idea about that 2.5 million?

After going through the stock from Mar 2016 until Dec-2019 below points to be noticed.
1-Company is now a debt-free company.
2-Comparing with peers (KDL, COMD) this is trading at very attractive price levels.
3-Cash rich company Rs 1.8bn.(Cash per share is well over the CMP)
4-YTD EPS Rs 20.64/- while on the verge of reporting another Rs.1.60+ for Mar quarter.
5-NAV has increased in a big-time from Rs 4.06(Mar19) to Rs 15.66(Dec19) with the eve of crossing Rs16 mark with Mar2020 results.
6-Investor friendly share as they declared Rs 8.50/- as a dividend in FY2019.
7- Top 4 largest shareholders are holding 75% of the issued capital.
8-Company is well poised to go with a resounding investment with big cash in hand as FD rates are at rock bottom levels.

EAST is holding well above 9 even though ASI has dropped by 112 points last week, plus started to getting foreign attention as well

*Couple of Green Day’s will take this much expected 10+ target.

I don't rerecommend novice traders to enter at this level, unless you are confident in your strategy. The SP has the potential to move Rs 0.5 - 1 upside very short term, esp with Q4 financials or even downside to the same extent, with short term price correction. But, once the SP in the bullish zone price can move up exponentially. Remember this is a aggressively trading stock with fast and wide price fluctuations. I am personally bullish on this share.
