Good luck
lIOC better to observe it's growth with new developments. COMB very good growth like most of the banks. But we need banking really to see the prices of banking share to up. I feel still not investors are really ready for that. But at this stage I think time to focus on finance companies. I am more bullish on LFIN and VFIN now. Feel those prices are very attractive with more capital and dividend income in future.

Probably Split on the card and it will be happened.

There were splitting history for Richard Peries Group as did split RICH 15:1 in 2010 and same thing will repeat on this occasion too..

They will probably do for REXP and NAMU and perhaps for KGAL..

After long time here is cseguide again. because of this post lots of investors got good gains in last year. So I thought of giving new set of shares for this year as multibagger stocks.

I like to start with plantation stocks, since they are dollar earning counters now. There are lot of positives for plantations now.
*Dollar earning export counters.
*rupee depreciation profit doubled or higher
*favorable weather good for crop yield
*high crop yield with fertilizer ban removal
* weeding cost lower  with Glicoset application
* Reporting all time high prices for tea at Colombo tea auction

*some plantations use mechanical harvesters which lower the cost of production

Here is my multibagger counters and there current price.

1. BALA- Balangoda plantation Rs 124.00

2. UDPL- Udupussallawa plantationRs 119.50

3. KVAL- Kalani vely plantation    Rs    121.00

4. TPL -Thalawakale plantation      Rs   109.75

5. NAMU - Namunukula plantation  Rs 454.00

6. ELPL -Elpitiya plantation             Rs 103.75

All above shares are at least Two bagger stocks for me.

@Cseguide happy to see you back in action.
I believe, out of the plantation sector shares KVAL is still very much under valued. KVAL may report 50 EPS for 2023. I.e. PE of just 2.4 times. This is definitely a mutibagger. Just PE of 4 will result in 200.

hi @lion
yes, you are correct. Kval is definitely a multi-bagger stock. most of our members have not identified the value of plantation stocks yet. They can't understand by studying their past performance. After this financial year, most plantations will report all-time high prices. so take early positions and gain good profits.

Looking for a new mutibagger.  Volume coming to  tea auctions are low. Only high yield, secondary income generators with cash are the ones that can have mutibagger trend. Anyway better to watch and wait. Companies with consistency will end up with mutibagger and others will drop if balance sheet stay at the same level or become weaker.  Good time to study balance sheet, debt and cash. Higher the debt level higher will be interested expenses. So the profit margin will drop. On the other hand companies having  cash will get high interest income. . If we can find one who is going to get best of the following four will be real mutibaggers.

Core income, secondary income, investment income and interest income

Unexpectedly today  bala announced a right issue. with the announcement Bala price reduced. sort term bala price may weaken further. right issue purpose is to settle the loans. so it is good for long term. But with !: 1 right issue dilute the EPS since share capital become doubled. I think good to collect after the right issue.

multibagger stock CALT -current price 57.50
among 3 PD stocks listed in CSE highest EPS share is CALT. and CALT has lowest number of shares. Due to lowering of interest rates CALT will produce extra ordinary gains during next few quarters. The latest news we got yesterday is as   Sri Lanka’s consumer price inflation fell to 6.3 percent in 12-months to July 2023, with food prices deflating 1.4 percent over the year, data from the state statistics office showed. The widely watched Colombo Consumer Price Index fell 1.1 percent over the month of July.Sri Lanka’s central bank has generated only 0.47 percent inflation in since September 2022, when deflationary open market operations began to show up in the balance of payments as a surplus.

by reducing inflation will lead to reduce the interest rate further and which will increase the profitability of PD stocks including CALT.

This is not a buy sell recommendation.
