I am holding on to it have absolute faith to exit at Rs 10. This may be different, as some experts believe Rs 12.

Fundamentally BIL should improve NAV with HNB purchase recently and BIL should improve Cashflows with awarded PORT CITY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

lot of people will dump bil right after PCB.. but afterwards..it will start its jounery towards becoming one of the top of capitalized stocks in CSE... so future is bright.. collections less than 7 will get u guranteed returns within on year.. logterm i expect 15+ mid 9-10

Hi all,

PANIC is a disaster or it even can be called a sickness when it comes to stocks.

PANIC creates a world of opportunities for SMART INVESTMENTS or TRADING

PANIC will ERODE PROFITS

As usual in RECENT WEEKS, BIL recorded the HIGHEST TURNOVER today as well collecting about 14% from TOTAL TURNOVER. However, PANIC SELLING witnessed just after the court determination which misjudged. However, BIL has recorded a healthy VOLUME between Rs 6.60 which is about Rs 4.2 BILLION which I feel is good enough CONSOLIDATION at current levels.

Therefore, we are awaiting PORT CITY COMMISSION BILL APPROVAL and INITIAL INVESTMENTS for the COLOMBO INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL CENTRE (CIFC) which is targeted to be completed by 2025 under the present GOVERNMENT. Very recently BIL bought 9.9% of HNB and having 23% of issued shares in SEYLAN BANK which hints about the connectivity of BIL STRATEGIC INVESTMENTS in BANKS and CIFC

Hi all,

Continuing the trend of being number 1 collected stock in CSE for the last couple of weeks, BIL recorded an INCREASED TURNOVER of Rs 444Mn cf. to Rs 360Mn yesterday. Today’s COLLECTION is almost 20% of day’s turnover.

Panic Selling was noted in early hours but aggressive parcels collected at Rs 6.70~6.80.

Important to note is some Investors and Traders having strong will in will over BIL’s future developments after PORT CITY COMMISSION BILL APPROVAL which we can see as CHAIN of NEWS hit to the market hopefully.

Hi all,

Now the following request from the Priest and Monks is ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY for all BIL LOVERS to BUY LOW from PANIC SELLERS.!

This will be like the last time when Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksha claimed against PORT CITY and went to courts.! Courts CLEARED PETITION. But, BIL slumped 0.20~0.30 cents and RECOVERED back from 6.40 to 6.80 thereafter in couple of days. Similarly, all BIL lovers may ready their BUCKETS to collect.

These pressure groups DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY PORT CITY NEEDED and WHY THE ECONOMIC COMMISSION BIL NEEDS APPROVAL FAST. I don’t know whether they were given right information.

Whatever said and done PORT CITY COMMISSION BILL shall be approved for an OBVIOUS REASONS being 269 hectares reclaimed from sea. Will Chinese let go USD 1.4Bn already invested???

The economic commission bill passed with a majority.

Now it’s the show time for BIL. Many traders may opt to SELL sooner the decision is out. However, BIL is correlated with high level of expected positive news hitting market in coming months. Sometimes, fundamentals may not support a share appreciation but numbers will follow in later part of the earnings.

As usual, BIL was the number 1 COLLECTED in the market today recoding a turnover of Rs 144Mn which is 10% or more from the total market turnover.

This should reduce the panic selling i witnessed in the last couple of days or so @6.6 and 6.7. Will definitely give more courage to many BIL share holders including me subject to the common travel restrictions and lock down implications which applies to all shares.
