Just thought to add some insights for AGAL since , per my view, AGAL is a 100+ shares within few months.

- AGAL is one of best managed plantation company upon it had been acquired by DAMRO group. There were even negative NAV prior to 2017 and tremendous turnaround is being happened afterward and now it is one of best performing planation company.

- It has well crop diversification to Tea, Rubber and Palm oil and all these crops are doing and will do extremely good in coming years.

- Their JV, AEN Palm Oil Processing Ltd ( holding 33.33%) is a another cash cow for them. It is the state-of-the art crude palm oil processing factory in Sri Lanka.

- It is trading at affordable price as other Palm oil related shares are trading at some higher prices now. So retailers might be more attractive to AGAL.

This is just to give some insights about true potential of AGAL and   I'm fully agreeing with the price targets of all other Palm oil dominated shares (WATA/ELPT/NAMU) mentioned above..

First capital analysts do not have even basic equity market sense.. So pity..

I can remember, when EXPO was trading @ 27 level they gave fair value as 23..Same way they asked to exit WATA when it was trading 57 as it was reached to  their FV.. Now where both those shares.. Very Happy

Expect another rally on Palm Oil in ST

WATA  Rs.250
ELPL    Rs.220
NAMU  Rs.1,200
AGAL   Rs.71

WATA & NAMU are best with higher dividends coming soon !!

Higher margins will remain more 6 months. Some major countries banned their palm oil exports with drop in crops even though palm oil prices are at Sky. Overall all plantation companies should have achieved highest profit in a quarter in Q3.

Forecast, WATA can record > Rs.8.40 EPS only for Q3.. Higher gains from Watawala diary operations contributes continuously for profit increases other than palm oil higher prices with highest margin they earned. These conditions will continue more few years. More developments in place. Most of research companies have evaluated WATA above Rs.260.
Expect highest dividend per time Rs.8 in early March. Overall return from WATA investment is > 46%.. Good & Safe Investment !!

These are only short term targets (Within 1 & half months)..

Tea prices are still not support for a bull run in plantation sector. Rubber prices will be maintained at current prices and not go further up. However, palm oil prices will be beneficial more in short term, bcz it has achieved ever-highest prices already. 18% increase can be seen in average prices QoQ. Most of palm oil cultivation countries are banning export of Palm oil. In palm oil industry, nearly 75%-80% net profit can be taken from palm oil sales at top level after covering overheads. Further, coconut prices in Sri lanka are going up and major alternative comes from palm oil. Therefore, NAMU & WATA have more benefit from Crop types.

Know AGAL is the one of best plantation company.. Most diversified company. If tea sector does better

AGAL will settle above Rs.90 in MT (Within 3 Months)..

Palm Oil increased to a 12-week high of 5177 MYR/T, amid prospects of stronger demand and tight supplies. Top producer Indonesia said it was planning to begin tests for biofuel with higher palm content in February, suggesting the country might restrict crude palm oil exports in the coming months. On the other hand, cargo surveyors' data showed exports from Malaysia, the world's second-largest palm oil producer, fell between 32% and 45% during January 1-15 from a month earlier. Palm oil booked its biggest gain in three months in early January as output expectations were hit by concerns over adverse weather in Malaysia.

Very optimistic ground!

This week, palm oil manufacturers will gain highest gains! Watawala has lot of opportunities to record 50% from current prices. NAMU can go beyond Rs.1,000 again. ELPL will touch Rs.200. AGAL has potential for above Rs.75

See my previous post about AGAL. I reckon it is one of best managed plantation company with good crop diversification.. No doubt this is 100 + share once Q financials out.

NAMU/WATA super gain - Page 3 AAAAAASUVORK5CYII=

Also, I'm very bullish about KOTA too as it too having a good crop diversification.. KOTA has traded 8 range so long. This will reach 12 in ST.. Keep on eye.

Smart investors are always vigilant in world/country macro trends, commodity prices, forex fluctuation, etc. and make a early investment decision than others.

Similarly, if you see world Palm oil price movement and its supply demand imbalance, you can easily judge which share you have to buy and hold..

Others are better. Select considering price and other crop combination /business model

WATA result is not inline with our expectation..

Their GP margin is contracted to 52% from 65% in previous Q. This is mainly due to high input cost like fertilizer and labor.

Hope this will bounce back as Palm oil prices are elevated new high on recent days.

Normally December quarter is like that .plan oil doesn't require much mineral fertilizer comparing with other 3 commercial crops.
That means tea plantation will be heavily hit .
