I cannot figure out as to how Sangakkara got his fake accent, after being born and lived in Sri Lanka most part of his life. How could one consider him to be a role model. May be he is a role model for those who follows Yankees, who eats pizza and drink coca cola. As a Sri Lankan at times I feel shy the way he uses his accent to address people and the way he uses broken sinhaleses to address Sri Lankans. If he values Sri Lankan culture, then he should first talk like a Sri Lankan and respect srilankan values.
Do not compare Sangakkra with gentlemen like Ranjan Madugalle, Anura Tennekoon or Micheal Tissera. Sangakkara is another Hansie Corngie in making. He might probably will have the same destiny.
I fully agree with mono, he is a fake wannabe cool type of a guy.
