Do you normally attend company AGMs...? Is there a use for small investors in attending these meetings...?

Few weeks back I went to Singer Finance AGM. The person who was conducting the meeting (may be the chairman) was in a real hurry to pass the resolutions and finish the AGM as soon as possible. I think it took less than 15 minutes for the whole AGM. We were also given some snacks and a cup of tea by the Singer Finance.
