Are there any member in this forum who have got S C Securities as the stock broker? What do you think about it? Twice they had issued payments through cheques without inform me. I didn't told them to send me any payment. Once they did it (as the first time), I told them not to do this again. I told it to the manager also. But they did it again. When I asked about that payment from them, they gave me totally different answers. ("Katti Panna") Other thing is they don't provide any faithful information about the stocks when I ask from them. The very first time that I bought shares was a lost. Because they told me to buy union bank shares @ Rs. 30.30(high price) and also said that share price would raise up by 2 or 3 rupees . But it went down. Crying or Very sad

Once when I told my advisor to sell some shares with a profit, he sold them with a lost.( Twisted Evil

I tempered 100%) It is difficult to connect with my investment advisor because he is not in the seat so many times. Their website has many errors and it's not user friendly. They don't provide any trading software like CDAX. I need some replies. Neutral

They do that kind of things. Its typical. They dont treat their clients well. So best thing i did was changed the broker.

Same scenario here too with capital alliance - they are very reluctant to provide a online trading system and their advice is crap Evil or Very Mad

I don't mind paying extra for good advice or with less broker charges when we do our own trading but the quality of the people their are not upto the standard

I think everywhere it is the same treatment you get.

one solution is to shift to another broking Co. which gives better on-line system.

The accounts department of SC is a hell of a place.. Fed up with it.. Don't issue checks at time.. As u told, when inquired, they give some miserable reasons.. Mad

Same thing happened to me 3 times. If I sold some shares they are sending the cheque in 1 or 2 days.I asked my adviser why they did so. I asked him not to do this.. but the same thing happening. He wants me to inform him whenever I need to hold the money. Now I am fed up with this and decided to change the broker. I opened a new account at Capital trust then. Here the online trading system is much better than the SC securities.

I think manager cannot control other people. They do their own things. MANAGEMENT ANTHIMAI! Mata dan meka ajooovai! pennanna beha!

i think my brokers is good they put my cheque on time directly to my account. i no need to worry. but i do online trading with Direct FN

I think you need to sign hold sale procedures with them. So they dont issue cheques when there is a balance in your account.Once you do this ,if you need to get your balance you need to request them in written or by an email.
to settle other problems you need to change the broker

Generally most of the broker firms issue you a cheque after settlement day of your sold shares.They do it within one or two days but we receive the cheques sometimes with delays due to postal process which is not under their responsibility.
So even if you change the broker for this reason you have to inform them to hold any payments.
In your case i think your broker must have simply forgotten about your request.

Move to JB Securities. They are very professional and my experiance with them is a pleasant one!

sending cheques in 1 or 2 days? are you serious about that

I didn't get your exact issue, after sales normally i used to get the cheques on the 5th day, i will be very happy if they send in 01 or 02 days, you have to appreciate them

I have sent a letter telling that to hold my settlements until i requests. they (Asia and Lanka sec ) do it nicely. Change Ur broking firm. Thats d best.
