None of the casinos are listed & neither they were consolidated to any of the listed entities he has in CSE.

Hi Guys,

People are on the panic terms watching the market closely due to current political instability and hot news. Market is bearish; no bullish due to loss of hope.

We cannot actually predict too much. These days market is so extensively sensitive to political news. Major news would change market sentiments drastically but it may not sustain.

I expect blue chips to play a major role in CSE direction as mentioned above; in coming weeks. We can experience short term turnarounds/waves. But important thing is to forecast future with prevailing changes in policies by new regime.

I feel DP is looking at some investments to dispose. His companies which are having monopoly in that field will not be able to maintain that furthermore.

Dhammika perera and Ravi wiherathna has decided to close some of their casio outlets as special tax imposed of 1000 mn for one casino licence. This special tax must be paid before 15 th of april. Dhammika has 3 licence and he will give up 2 and continue one casino outlet. Ravi wijerathna has 2 licence and give up one. There are 1964 employees work with Dammika pereras casino. If he sells and some others buy as mentioned , there will be no more tax for casinos.The buyer will be a strong government supporter(as you mentioned).
Again if this government changes , there will be another tax targeting the latter businessman.
It is the political culture here.

people in dreams. casino is not the biggest corruption in the country. we have all illegal, corruptions, dishonest all over in country. casino phobia is marketed by UNP during last few years while they well established it in past. Developing country should be boundless to anything. casino, brothel, prostitution or any business can be seen in reputed countries. only thing that any of these businesses should legalized and controlled.
