price before the sub division -(800-1000)

suppose we take 1000,then theoretical price after split is (1000/70)=14.20

still 11.50 is too much to this shit,should come to 8-10 Rs Twisted Evil

think some one who want to artificially up this share or someone who bought above 35..
I feel this is very risky investment and i dont much about this share... but it not means this is not up.. coz this is CSE and having some unaffordable patterns...

It didnt move the way many expected. But what noted was it was mainly retailers selling it caz there were very few orders larger than 7000 (100 shares before split). And it was XD today for its 3 rupee divident which is of course negligible caz its just 4 cents per share after split (hopefully those who sold today realised the divident of Rs. 3 was before split). I think we might see possitive moves from tomorrow.

I am not a expert,but i think when it is next month it will come below 20.becouse think.... what is the opotunity cost of buying emer rather than cft.Same industry around 10million shere different between two companies.Is there any special benefits of buying emer.Before anusement of subdevision,it was traded at 1200 and suddnly it reached the level of 3000 becouse of small no.of sheres.This is not a buy or sell recomendation,only my idea.

At the moment their are double the number of sellers than buyers.

Currently its trading at 2380 rate (thats bef the split. ) so if it is going back to the old level then it will come to around 17 - 20. But we need to see the liquidity of the share before and now. Also how is the company and their value. This should indicate the price.

But for it to go @ 40+ is like something of day dream. If it goes i am very happy.

I noticed another thread that says disaster is around the corner. I sure hope it happens to wipe out the kind of idiots who buy crap like this. That's what they deserve.

EMER was already a hugely overpriced company with grim prospects (read this story: http://www.lbo.lk/fullstory.php?nid=664193098 ) on Aug 3. Then on Aug 4 it shot up more than 150% the price needs to drop to about 5-6 for it to be attractive

EMER's EPS is 1.04 ruppees (by anualizing the last quarter eps) and NAPS is Rs. 7.92 after split. I agree its not cheap but when considering what we have seen with some shares which have negative EPS as well as negative NAPS it is quite possible this share will move above 40. And i certainly dont think this will come below 20. (actually I'll be supprised if it comes below 30)

Yeah, sure go on gambling but eventually you will lose all your money. The mathematics of gambling says so (here is a primer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaming_mathematics)

Oh and BTW you can't annualize earnings by multiplying the last quarter by 4. Just ask the people like you who bought BFL at 500 and GRAN at 250 (or you can use the search button)

Can you explain how it's attractive. Currently it's trading at PE 80 (Today's closing price is Rs 31.60). One of the highly overvalued shares. It was trading at 680/- just before split announcement. Do your own study before make decision. For me it's worth around Rs. 10/-. In fact I wouldn't even invest at Rs 10/-. Because there are many shares currently trading at attractive price
