We have successfully completed the Disaster Recovery Drill of the Sri Lanka Equity Forum. This exercise has been carriedout with the approval and consent of the forum Administrators. Intention of this exercise was to educate and identify the reaction of the members in the event of a disaster.

We have noticed and identified few areas that requires further improvement. Further we have noticed that members requires constant updates and asistance in case of a disaster. Accordingly we have listed below the contact emails, our other websites and some friendly forums, which members should use in order to obtain a feedback or latest updates in the event of disaster or shut down of the Sri Lank Equity Forum.

This was what I was told (But chosen the wrong time, when the Market was Yo Yo).
Little pre-warning would have been nice a gesture ( or perhaps for the next time as we learn from our own mistakes ).
Glad to see it up and running.

Pew....Glad to hear that you successfully completed the disaster recovery drill, which is important for any system. For a moment I thought the authorities have crack down on the sites like they did for the previous site.

Whole exercise is part of the preparation for an eventuality. Sri Lanka Equity Forum Admins, VstoX Admin, Sri Lanka Equity Research Admin and Facebook Page Admin all had prior knowledge of the Disaster Recovery Drill and all acted as per given instruction.

I am sure, everybody learnt something from it.
