If the purchase was for long term, then it is better to avoid when the dividend was announced as the price tends to come down after the X date.
Hoping for a rally and wants to make a quick buck, then I believe it is OK.
But I think 12:60 is bit on the higher side.

In addition to exchange rate, Bangaladesh losing GSP(in US) will probably be favorable. I dont have any TJ. Unfortunately, I have been watching this since it was only six something not too long ago, my missed opportunity is mentally preventing me from buying now. Crying or Very sad

Why do you think they delayed the announcement of final div? they wanted to see the June numbers.

We saw KGAL trading below the long time resistance @ 110/-. This might be an opportunity to take strategic decisions for portfolio holders.

will rich give a good dividend since most supermarket chains are having thin margins because of VAT issue. May be they are pumping funds from their subs
