the recent US government twist from earlier stand at the UNHCR forum with regards to the investigation from international to local , is very despicable and should be condemned by all fair minded citizens.
the US seems to play politic with the life of others not only in Sri Lanka but all over the world. look what is happening in middle east, Palestine, Ukraine .....the list goes on.
they are only concern about their own self interest and don't care what happen here or any where as long as they are safe.
it is very sad that other countries tend to support their action half heartedly at the UN and NATO and EU, G8.
China is only worried about its immediate neighbours .
India is easily manipulated as there are corruption all over
UK will always take the stand of US
that is why I always believe there should be a equal challenging super power that should be there in the world.
Russia is the only resistance therefor it should be strengthen by all fair minded people in the world , to have a balance in the world other wise the justice and fair play in this world is very remote. that is why Russia and Putin is been attacked economically by sanctions, to weaken its power
UN will dance to the tune of US
I don't think this UN report/recommendation of internal investigation will do any think to the people of Sri Lanka to have a good future and good race relationship.
this is only a temporary cover up.
even I think the present National government in Sri Lanka is also a cover-up to protect all the perpetrators of this in-justice.
I think there will be split in the National Government after this UN report cools down.
only time will tell.
