EXPO lanka started trading 15 and went back to 14.60 with in few minutes????? 1,260,200 shares traded at the moment 9.40am..... what you all say ????

Jhon keells stock brokers made a havoc early in the morning.. we can't access the internet trading even. they promoted the EXPO.

but still expo reached 15...... it didn't work out I guess

I see many reasons for EXPO not to hit high as many expected. But as i expected it did not go up. The reasons that i believe is as below.

1. Not allowing bank guarantee stopped big fish entering without paying and exiting on the 1st day.

2. The 40% for retailers made more retailers to get more shares and they trying to exit on the 1st day since they might be feeling hard to stagnate their money more than a month.

3. The Private placement law made the directors stop selling their cheap earned shares on the 1st day.

4. Expo lanka was not making much profits 2-3 years back. Check their accounts. There were making losses but last two financial years they made some profits.

All these issues stopped it going as expected and got stagnated as we expected.
