Being pesimistic about the breaking of 6300 is a good or not??

I think 6300 is possible within next week. Shortened week due to holidays is a good platform to push the market up and to reshape the portfolios. That's the case in many of the Europe markets such as US, UK, Italy. Check how the markets behave in the eve of Christmas holidays in these markets.

Hey EC, do you think this bull run is due to the upcoming new year, or is it based on actual positive market sentiment? Do you think it'll go slightly down after next week?

It feels kinda strange, seeing more greens than reds in my portfolio, after entering the stock market 1.5 months ago and collecting some undervalued stocks such as DIAL, LIOC, ACL and EXPO! Very Happy

Do you think there is a chance of making a quick buck by selling some of the shares right after the new year and re-buying them?

What we predicted is true here. Market has been pushed by retailers though institutions remain lacklushter. Now what is important is what will be the index by the end of April.
Positive fuel for current run are from resupmtion of Port City, Debt-Equity swap arrangements, possible China investments, IMF $1bn by the end of the month.
New arrivals today the reimposition of STL which will reduce the risk of introduction of CGT to stock market.
So with all of these the market should be within the range of 6480-6550 by the end of April. Lets see.
at least now we know that we also can predict accurately not as high as 97% but may be 75%. Very Happy

Also don't forget quarterly result season is on the cards. We have just seen good report from ECL and ECL sky rocketed today.

Last year end results did not push the market up as did in previous years due to prevailed environment. Comparing to that current market environment has slightly improved still hanging a question mark for the next phase. It is probable that forthcoming results on cards may thrust ahead strayed market confidence. Trading pattern to come just after festive season would be an indication of potential opportunity.
