Hi Asitha,
Income tax provisions of companies have been calculated on their adjusted profits at the standard rate of 28%, except for Companies which are enjoying income tax exemptions or subject to concessionary tax rates.

If you look at SPEN, Group, their effective income tax rate is around 21% after considering all tax exemptions

Fundamentally strong, good financial figures. If it canovercome the liquidation this is one of the hidden gems in the market. Will reach 13-14 with the announcement of dividend.

Are you new to this? Refer the financials before you invest. The price was stagnated for some time and now it's moving. This normally reaches to 13 near the dividend XD date.

If you're new to this please refer figures belated to share analysis like EPS, BOOK VALUE, .. There are many YouTube channels even in Sinhala . Make your own decisions coz most of us are biased on the shares we've picked. And some are long term waiters while some need quick buck.

Yeh. We expect the price to go up near the XD date. RICH hasn't given a dividend yet.

Lawa, do you agree with teller or have a different opinion regarding dividend ?

I see two reasons for your question Gihan,
1) One reason for market price to increase is dividend expectation but when i checked investing.com the peiod on which they provide dividend is different. However, for the last F/Y they have not paid a dividend yet. So it is possible that market price went up with an expectation for dividend soon.

2. They are yet to publish Annual Report for 2019/20 but considering Covid they have reported a descent turnover based on the turnover value mentioned in the disclosure. So another reason could be expectation of a favourable annual report in the coming week.

If Lawa shares his\her views on Tellers’s opinion you will be able get better clarity on the matter.

They'll never give a scrip coz liquidity is already sky high. That's the only issue with this. All of their diversified sectors performed well in the previous quarter. This sudden trend has only one reason IMHO .. DIVIDEND !!

Bubble? It's not a bubble. Price needs to adjust with the market trend plus the dividend date will be announced soon..
