This counter is still in 60.

It's subsidiaries/related companies LWL,CERA and PARQ anounced dividends.RCL performed better than those companies.But no dividend anouncement yet.

Interesting to see this counter in comming weeks.

RCL trend has gone. they will face many more pressures coming months too . especially energy and raw material issue . other scenario is competition with Chinese products .

* It's main tile business will be affected.

* it has 26%(36Million) LB Finance shares.
* Asset value is 196.

Yes definitely profit would be less in coming quarters.But I believe RCL undervalued at current price level(60s).Let's see in coming quarters.

As at 30.06.2019

NAV LKR 208.10
EPS LKR 3.09

Market Price per Share : Rs 63 (19.09.2019)

RCL has strong upside potential given its trading below NAV, Postive Earnings and has been a consistent dividend payer.

Technicals suggest the same and in my opinion its a good buy with at least a 20% return yield within 6 months. This is also evident as there has been an increased level of trading in the last 2-3 days indicating a strong possibility of a price reversion to offset the continous decline of share price since late Aug 2019.

I referred to the quarterly earnings. I could had taken the previous earning and made the investment case for RCL Strong but opted not to as its better for people to check the performance of the company themselves and be convinced rather than invest blindly.

Agreed ..Fundamental share... I have remembered within 4 days RCL ran from 65 to 95 in previous era..(2014 year)

@Thassim - 2018 year same quater is 3 rs . RCL have big quaterly cyclical fluctuation. this year also RCL may achive 20+ eps . i think 2019 Q1 is better than 2018 Q1. also they will make big profit since now they have big inventory unsold. when thease sold there would be no manu cost. you know tiles do not expire Very Happy

NP despite holding 1m shares discouraged buying RCL.

I was planning to slowly collect @ 63 but have second thoughts.

Is it possible the price drops further. It appears to be resistance and holding strong at 63/00.

@Ddrperera I can't respond to your message since I'm new here and there appears to be some restrictions.

I only USE MACD and RSI as my technical indicators. I'm new to using technical indicators and appreciate if you could tell me what are your indicators.

RCL is probably best share in the market. PE about 3x and Net Assets over 200. Dividend Yield also not bad and over savings rate regularly. 100% price appreciation easily possible, but some other factors and market momentum probably keep the share cornered. Like to hear ideas from experts specially Teller...

I'm bit new to CSE. I plan to buy this.... but not sure why its going down.

for my findings,
overall it's good company only following two disadvantages notices,
1) lack of clay issue in sri lanka so material cost will be high in future.
2)Chinese tiles

Now they seem to produce tiles in India cutting cost and also getting the benefit of import tax reduction done by current Govt. ROCELL is a high end brand and dont think they face a major threat from Chinese Tiles.

Their reports indicate sustained growth also during this tough period with construction sector slow down. When sector picks up, which is a matter of time, RCL should be booming..Till then you can buy and hold as they give you better dividends than savings..Few shares have all these features..But like to see opposite views if any...

RCL must trade above 75 rs. within two runs this will reach to 80. two months ago it touched 80 level. only very few shares traded between 80 and 63. donnt miss this opportunity
