You could be correct. If he knew that this credit clearance issue is coming, he would clear his entire portfolio to enter the market around this time.

Directors are buying SHL and its trading way below IPO price. Issued share amount is comparatively less than VONE.

NP take even 1, 2 LKR profit also. He is a trader. (Eg: PCH, PABC)
This time he sold his stake at 30 so he can collect later on for less. Thats what traders do.

Today i saw a massive sell order (Half million shares) at around 27.30 or something. If someone really want to exit he wont put a massive sell order like that. Its just stupid. Lets see what will happen. Anyway this share i keep as a long term share, like a FD.

Sapumal,

Samp trading at PER < 10X for FY10 earnings.
RCL trading at PER 10X for FY11 (Upto March) earnings.
LFIN trading at PER 11X for FY11 (Upto March) earnings.

These are very good buys at current levels. Most analyst and researchers are expecting atleast a 40-60% growth for each company for the coming year. Also Vone now owns Delmege and part of Hayleys if im not mistaken.

After VONE IPO, RCL bought a chunk in Delmege and HAyleys too aswell as a paint company. RCL is building a third tile factory which will beready in 18months.

Vone is building a star grade hotel.

So at current price VONE is attractive. (Not a BUY/Sell/Hold recommendation)

The fall in SAMP RCL LFIN are also making these shares a bargain.

Share price fall in LFIN, RCL are not a concern to VONE. Those companies are associate companies of VONE now (>51% ownership). Profits of these companies are ultimately go into the VONE's financials. Therefore the share price is irrelevant as long as these companies bring profits. In other words VONE's performance is based on LFIN, RCL, Delmage, Orit's performance. When you add up 51% of earnings of each of these companies you get the profit figure of VONE. Thats how VONE showed a 5 billion revenue and 1.2 billion profits.

But the SAMP is only an strategic investment. SAMP's share price affects the valuation of VONE as the investment is in a loss at the moment.

Therefore just mealy looking at VONE's associated company's share price fall it can not be concluded that VONE worth less now. That is a silly kind of valuation.

When i looked at the order book today i saw some 800k buy orders @ 25. However after that there was only about 20k buy orders for the next two rupees. Further if i am not mistaken today's last trade was 84,000 shares @ 25. I suggest you look at the order book tomorrow morning and see whether there is support @ 25 level before buying or else this may drop further

This is only my understanding and not a buy or sell recommendation

VONE was highly recommended by everybody during it's IPO and expected to sharp increase of share price,now decreasing day by day(Now trading more below the IPO price). True, even I am puzzled with it's down trend, well I collected well below it's IPO price even at 20.3. I beleive it's good to hold, probably medium term.

this would come to 25 very fast, when the market recoveres. I am not worried about this share.

No Specific reason for VONE to drop. The market behaviour prevailed these days do not allow any share to recover.Only shares of 90% foreign owned companies are moving up.(Eg;Nestle,Ceylon Tobacco,LLUB)
The reason is they are continuesly declaring good dividends since they want to take money earned.Therfore any small shareholder also get good dividends.VONE is a new company and it needs reasonable time to grow. Therefore in a bear market you cant expect more than what is hapening now for not only VONE but PLC,EXPO also.

Check the dealing by directors. net sale is
about 10m. Shares held by public has increase 138m to 210m
Smartest investor EPF bought another 41.6m shares ( again public money )
hold
on the baby till they want it back or sell at a loss/Small profit &
buy back on the top of a rally when they feel to sell & be a long
term investor.

Before the IPO the company had 185,480,999 shares held by public.
After the 21m IPO issue the shares held by public stands at 213,943,537.

my numbers are pretty much correct I think. Check the annual report 2010/11 page no 69
Others 138m, 12.98% from the total. Sep financials it says public holding is 19.69% ( assume total no. of shares didn't change may be small difference here, I'll double check)
check the march annual report W D N D Perera held 8.2 share & in sep not in top 20 list
I count all the sales purchases in announcement total net sales about 11m & his bro bought 1m so net about 10m
