my broker said people sold GLAS past 2 days. they again try to collect. he told me, don't sell and hold for next few announcements. not one.. few. i agreed with you @MasterD.

As I see, in Sri Lanka ,  price of a share is increased due to two reasons.
1. Interested party/ies who have accumulated a big portion at a lower(or higher) price take it up to shed the burden and make a profit/reduce the loss.
2. Due to good fundamentals.

An investor without a capacity to do the 1) above often stand to gain if he follow the 2) I.e. fundamentals
Glass should be viewed in this respect.
It has some of the best fundamentals:
1.Glass being the only producer is a monopoly in Sri Lanka (None of the other companies promoted are monopolies:(Dipped has a monopoly in certain products) - no competitors 

2.Raw material is found in and sourced  from Sri Lanka.
3. Benefits from govt. policy on banning glass imports and encouraging domestic industries with assistance.
4. Market capitalization is very low ( many weaker companies are having a higher market capitalization) Therefore, much room for share price appreciation
5.expanding  Export market 
6. Profitability hence good return to share holders by way of expected higher dividends 
7. Not supplying to a volatile and riskier markets like Agri products/perishables

I collected today as well. I think price is settling at Rs.7.10-Rs.7.30 before the next run. Good consolidation happening yesterday and today. With good volumes.
