1) No fresh capital in the market - foreigners are pulling out and no major funds coming in.
2) PLC IPO - Massive 7BN rupee IPO is coming up. Investors are selling their fundamental shares at losses and collect money for this IPO.
3) People buy shares on credit in a declining market. They sell them at a loss to clear the credit.
4) Too much of manipulation - Investors lose confidence on fundamentals as a result of this. Market becomes overvalued.
5) Many investors go for alternative safe investments by exiting CSE. Eg: Gold, FD
Now many people are happy when CSE is closed for holidays including myself so that there is no loss. When CSE is open all we can see is red and day-by-day losses get biger and biger. Fortunately, I sold a portion of my shares and went for safe investments.
May God bless CSE.
