This will be a true gem.. Within 1-2 months this will cross 300 and if BULL run continue this may cross even 400..
Not just a promotion.. This assumption is purely based on prevailing favorable condition for poultry and analyzing company's' last few quarters earning.

BFL - Today also we witness some foreign buying and BFL lead poultry sector will have a good run very soon.
Mostly Q3 will be best for BFL and high possibility go around 15 EPS for Q3 and same as Q4.

I believe BFL can go around 40 EPS for current FY and it can trade @ minimum 8 or 10 PE. So BFL price for Rs. 300 - 400 between will easy, if they given positive above average earnings.

Current Market PE is 14 and also Food sector trading at 13.5 PE, therefore more possibility to trade at 8/10 around PE for BFL.
Further, ASI hit now 11,400 and BFL also need to upgrade soon.

Today Volumes are more powerful and break its bearish trendline.
It Looks more possible to repeating again 2011 rally - waiting only continuous improved Quarter on Quarter earnings.
Positive Factors :
Hotels open / Tourist arrival increasing / 42,000 tourist arrivals reported last month / BFL having contracts with hotel chains.
Chicken Prices in Local Market now almost double, when compare to Q1/Q2. So, possible for improved earnings.
Market PE now 14. Food sector shares need to be adjust quickly.

Agree, looks like history will repeat. Additional favourable consideration:
-Due to shipwreck and pollution, fish consumers have shifted to chicken, leading to higher demand.
-Price increase ( min 20%), which was not the case in 2011
-Chicken is the most affordable meat in the current environment.

Expect the price to 300 levels soon

My expectation is double of your target.
Waiting Q3 financials and all signs looks BFL is now quarterly 15/20 EPS company.
Minimum Annualize EPS 50 @ 12/15 PE sometimes possible.
Not a Buy recommendation and will see,

It seems, there wz a profit taking happened in last 2 days as there were few impatient investors.. Otherwise no reason to come down. I added some more qty in 290 level..

Imported maize price will not hit to the BFL,

Since BFL joint-venture feed-mill operation has raw material storage and drying facilities, the Company is in an advantageous position in regard to the procurement and storage of raw materials.

In 2019 BFL Acquired CIC maize storage facility by the joint venture company to strengthen backward integration while enabling purchase of maize from more than 1,000 farmers in Anuradhapura, Moneragala and Ampara areas.

Q3 eps will be 20+
Annualized eps should be 55+
should be trade 600+

recent removal of price ceiling and resulting increased prices should account for any cost increases.

If you check past results BFL traded PER x17 also
In a bull market this can be trade 750 too.

Engaged in providing support services to the joint venture companies by purchasing and then leasing agricultural lands for setting up poultry projects.

They have strong facility for the chicken feed in this condition. Additionally they should pass cost increasement to their customers.
Fresh Chicken price around 800-1000

Hotels opens, Tourist arrival increasing, 70000 tourist arrivals reported last month, BFL having contracts with hotel chains.

im continuing to hold BFL but the price gap between TAFL (322) & BFL (268) is considerable and should not be the case. Can we expect a break before the reports? BFL Experts here?
